Supremely Credentialled

"Guess who’s coming to Canada? It’s none other than the prima donna of the world Islamist movement, the grandson of the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, Tariq Ramadan."
"Ramadan, who was barred from entering the U.S. until Secretary of State Hillary Clinton launched her “appease the Islamists” diplomatic initiative, will be speaking in Edmonton this weekend as a guest of local mosques (and, believe it or not, CTV is a sponsor). Later, he flies to Montreal where the Muslim Brotherhood-inspired Muslim Association of Canada will host him."
"Ramadan is a charming guy, but behind his smile lies a man committed to the goals of the worldwide Islamic jihad as laid out by his mentor, Sheik Qaradawi, and his father, the Trotsky of world Islamism, Said Ramadan."
"While the rest of us will join the labour movement in parades or relish the last days of summer around family and friends, the Islamists will congregate in Edmonton and Montreal to receive guidance from Tariq Ramadan. Just last year, he told an American Muslim audience their job in the North America was to colonize the continent: 'We (Muslims) should all be careful not to be colonized by something which is coming from this consumerist society … It should be us, with our understanding of Islam, our principles, colonizing positively the United States of America'."
"If that weren’t enough, Ramadan hinted that his presence in America and that of Muslims was not accidental, but the result of divine intervention. He said, 'By the way, we are not here by accident'."
In Edmonton, the group hosting Ramadan is a freshly minted organization that goes by the name "'Proud Muslims', Their claim the event is 'non-religious' is highly suspect as its main backers are 'all the mosques of Edmonton and Islamic Relief Canada'. Islamic Relief is the same organization that sponsored the radical Indian preacher Zakir Naik to speak in Toronto in 2010. However, Naik was barred from entering Canada after news reports quoted him praising Osama bin Laden: 'If (bin Laden) is fighting the enemies of Islam, I am for him … If he is terrorizing the terrorists, if he is terrorizing America the terrorist, the biggest terrorist, every Muslim should be a terrorist'."
"His hosts (sic) in Montreal, the Muslim Association of Canada (MAC), is unashamedly pro-Muslim Brotherhood and vows to work towards a 'Revolution in Islamic Work in Canada'. MAC makes no secret that it 'adopts and strives to implement Islam, as embodied in the Qur’an, and the teachings of the Prophet … and as understood in its contemporary context by the late Imam, Hassan Albanna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood'."
"While in Montreal, Ramadan intends to draw a parallel between the 'Arab spring' that led the Muslim Brotherhood to power in many Arab countries and the 'Maple spring' in Quebec, which refers to the students protesting tuition fees."
"It’s a dishonest attempt by Montreal Islamists to ride on the bandwagon of a popular secular student movement and appropriate it for their own agenda."
"We can’t blame Ramadan for using our Labour Day weekend to propagate the Muslim Brotherhood credo of 'destroying the West from within'. The blame lies with those who invite him to Canada. These Islamists must be held accountable, but they aren’t because Canada’s liberal intelligentsia will have nothing of that sort."
"It tries to bully us into silence, warning that any opposition to Islamism is nothing short of right-wing racism. However, this lifetime leftist will not be silenced by Islamists or their allies."
Tarek Fatah,  (Toronto Sun – August 28, 2012)
sun fatah ramadan
"It was something in my heart. I had a lot of difficulty with this for years, and I could not forget what happened to me that night with him, and so I decided."
"I just thought at that moment to free myself, free my words, and that did me some good. It relieved me a bit."
"But the name, I did not think it would cause such a noise."
"I took a long time to open my eyes, to understand that they [Islamist fundamentalists] indoctrinated us. It is important to say to all women that they should speak out, that they should not be scared, that they are not inferior beings to men, that they are equal to men, that they should fight to be respected and that you do not have to wear a veil to be a good Muslim."
Henda Ayari, French citizen, North African heritage

Henda Ayari accused Mr Ramadan of having beaten and raped her in a Paris hotel
BFMTV website (screenshot)
This woman who decided that she too would unburden herself of a wound seared into her psyche when a man she wholly trusted, believed to be incorruptible, spoke the truth of the sacredness of Islam and fostered in her confidence, overturned her trust in a violent act of forced sex that the world knows as rape, revealed her experience. Islam does place women on a lower, much lower rung than men. To prove she was raped she would have to produce, in a Sharia court, the testimony of three men as witnesses to her rape. A woman's testimony has no bearing in fact. If there are no witnesses it is obvious that she herself bears false witness and is herself guilty.

On Facebook she decided to post two photographs, one of herself in a full black Islamic veil, and another wearing a tight jacket and Tee-shirt, hair free to blow in the wind, and with it a denunciation of Salafist Islam, acknowledging its incitement of violent jihad among  young French Muslims, let alone the lowly place of women in the hierarchy of Islamist recognition. At 40 years of age she had the experience behind her of having lived with an Islamist when she was herself part of the fundamentalist movement.

Ten years of marriage and three children gave her ample experience to weigh what her life had become and what it had become was a dreary existence that led her to break away from the circumstance she now names as the straitjacket of radical Islam. Seeing the #MeToo campaign unfold in startling revelations baring the secrets and the shame of celebrity figures, professionals, respected men in all fields of public endeavour, she identified the man who had raped her five years earlier. Her October 2015 coming-out has garnered her respect and condemnation in equal measure.

Tariq Ramadan whom -- one of several women claiming he had been their rapist -- she identified as the man who violently raped her in a Paris hotel room in 2012; the Swiss-born Muslim intellectual known for teaching contemporary Islamic studies at Oxford University, familiar to viewers of television news programs where he waxes convincingly eloquent on Islam and the West, got his own outing. Concurrently to posting her confession on Facebook, Ms. Ayari filed a police complaint on the assault in Rouen, France, where she lives.

Accusing Ramadan of rape, sexual assault, willful violence, harassment and intimidation, she is no longer in his favour. He has responded by dismissing the allegations as unfounded, clearly in league with his enemies anxious to slander his good name. And he is taking steps to counter-sue for defamation. For her part, she sat down to write "I Chose to Be Free: A Survivor of Salafism in France", a book exposing the mental and physical subjugation she suffered within the Salafi community, knowing that other women were in the very same situation.

In the book, she had described a sexual assault without identifying her assailant. Even so, the result was threats and condemnation, with her own family disowning her. Her parents will not speak with her, her 18-year old son supports his father, her former husband, and she copes with torrents of online abuse. Her Tunisian ex-husband expected her to live a life of utter seclusion. And to appreciate that as her husband he had the right to be physically abusive. Leading her to leave, with her three children.

Coping with this upheaval in her personal life that left her stranded and without emotional support, she suffered a nervous breakdown, losing custody of her children for a two-year period. When she began following Tariq Ramadan's teaching she found him an understanding guide, a trusted mentor.

Islamist Invasion of Germany

"[Radical Islamists are] the greatest danger to Germany. Germany is on the spectrum of goals for Islamic terrorists."

Hezbollah, the Iran-inspired and -supported terrorist group that is subordinate to orders from the Iranian Republican Guard Corps has 950 active operatives in the Federal Republic. Hamas, stepson of the Muslim Brotherhood can boast of 300 operatives on German soil. Germany has designated Hamas as a terrorist organization. The Merkel administration along with the EU banned Hezbollah’s 'military wing' in 2013, but allows its ' political wing' to operate. As though there is a respectable separation between the two; a concept that Hezbollah itself mocks. How much sense does that make?

A report recently released by Germany's Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, states that the presence of Salafists in the country steadily increased from 5,500 in 2013 to 7,000 in the following year. The BfV report identified Salafists as "the most dynamic Islamic movement in Germany", serving as a recruitment pool for jihadis in Syria and Iraq. And the German government's response to its own mission's report?

The report's chapter on "Islamism and Islamic terrorism" describes demonstrations last summer in opposition to Israel's military response to Hamas's ongoing provocations sending thousands of rockets over the border into Israeli border towns leading to the Gaza war, as in reality presenting "rather more Hamas-supporting events than peace demonstrations and there was clearly public anti-Semitism" on virulent display. Anti-Semitic slogans which purposefully targeted "Jews and Israel", resulting in violent attacks on Jews and on pro-Israel activists countering the Islamists.

The number of Islamists in Germany increased to 43,890 in 2014 from 43,190 in 2013, according to the report released on Tuesday by the country’s domestic intelligence agency. The arson at the Wuppertal synagogue in North Rhine-Westphalia state in June of 2014 was cited. This was an event that saw a local court exonerating the German Palestinian perpetrators of anti-Semitism, claiming the men merely sought to bring "attention the Gaza conflict", by targeting the synagogue with Molotov cocktails.

The report went on to emphasize the success of Hamas in mobilizing its organization, bringing aboard people outside of its core support in participation of the anti-Israel protests. "Public anti-Semitism at the pro-Palestinian demonstrations" was clearly on display in rage expressed against Israel's Operation Protective Edge. "It was noticeable that a large number of mostly young people with an immigrant background expressed themselves in an anti-Semitic and hate-filled way", went on the report.

The BfV noted in particular that left-wing and right-wing fanatics, along with extremist Turks were fully present and accounted for, though they also concluded that many participants appeared to have no identifiable extremist backgrounds. They were merely driven by empathy for the plight of the terrorist group Hamas whom the Israelis were driven to attack in defense of Israeli civilian populations targeted by the terrorist group.

Germany was host in the first third to the middle of the 20th Century to a fascist home-grown ideology during the Third Reich that sought to conquer the world and was responsible in its outreach for that purpose of the deaths of eleven million people, six million of whom were Jewish Europeans, annihilated by design in a concerted effort to rid the world of the pestilential presence of the world's foremost genetic crucible of Nobel Laureate nominees and honourees.

Germany, along with many of its European neighbours now plays host to hordes of immigrants and refugees eager to escape the intellectual, social, religious and economic binding confines of Islam, among whose fertile demographics a steady infiltration of 'radicalized' jihadis and other terrorists have ensconced themselves, finding shelter and a supportive detection shield among them. But the jihadis are none too concerned with detection, since when their presence becomes known, little is done to dispatch them.

And Germany, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, France, Britain all smugly host the new threats to the existence of the world's Jews and their ancient homeland of Israel reborn.

She Should Know all About Red Flags

"You should be looking out for the sprouting of mosques and Islamic centres. You should be looking out for the establishment of Islamic schools and anything that costs money. Countries like Saudi Arabia and the oil-wealthy Gulf countries that have absolutely everything that money can buy, yet many of them choose, for their philanthropy, radical Islamic goals, institutions, activities -- jihad."
"For the outside, for the non-Muslim, especially in the West, where we believe in the freedom of religion and the freedom of conscience, when people come here and establish a network of schools, Islamic centres, mosques, it all falls within our freedoms and our laws, but we rarely take an interest in the content of what is being preached and what's being disseminated."
"I don't know how big the Medina group is. I think today it's much bigger than it was after 9/11, but it still is largely a minority: a considerable minority, a vehement minority, a determined minority, but a minority nevertheless."
"I don't want us to focus on the Medina Muslims only after they engaged in acts of jihad, but I would like us to start focusing on them early on ... in the weeks, the months and the years that they are preaching, preparing and cultivating the minds of young people."
Ayaan Hirsi Ali, fellow, Harvard University, JFK School of Government
WASHINGTON, DC - APRIL 07: Activist and author Ayaan Hirsi Ali speaks at the National Press Club, April 7, 2015 in Washington, DC. Ali spoke about ISIL, Islam and the West.    Mark Wilson / Getty Images
Well, in fact, as Ayaan Hirsi Ali knows well, the madrasses and the social centres funded by Saudi Arabia expressing its Wahhabist ideals have long spread the Salafist version of pure Islam, reflective of its 7th Century origins as a Bedouin Arab religion. It was, and it remains, a religion whose basic premise is that Islam is the only bona fide monotheistic vehicle of the spirit to please the only universal god who demands utter surrender. In surrendering to Islam, its adherents also fervently
recognize their calling to proselytize, for Allah will only be satisfied when the entire world worships  him.

Moreover, this religion whose foundation is the Arab culture of tribalism, of suspicion, of belligerence and endless war has elevated Arabs to the position of keeper of the faith; the language of the Koran and the Hadiths is Arabic, memorized by rote by non-Arab Muslims in fealty to Islam and its origins. Islam, through the Prophet Mohammad presented itself as a campaigning, conquering Army of Faith, one that gave no quarter; any who worshipped an earlier religion were put to the sword in a bloodbath of retribution for denying the sacred oneness of Islam's god.

Wahhabists have no patience with those who claim to respect Islam, but prefer to worship their own religion. Any who criticize, who fail to defer, who spurn, however politely, the invitation to declare their obligation to convert to Islam by repeating the Shahada: "There is no God but Allah and Mohammad is His Messenger", are deserving of death. This is where jihad enters the picture and the scimitar, a symbol of Islamic 'prosetylization'.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali is merely pointing out what to her is blatantly obvious, and as a former Muslim whose eyes were opened to the reality of fierce hatred and denial of equality and intent to commit bloodshed in the name of Islam, no one is better placed to describe the menace and the means by which it means to achieve the ultimate conquest of a West too forgivingly polite to take any of the declarations emanating from Islam other than that it is a 'religion of peace', seriously.

Radical clerics, she insists, and those with a jihadist agenda prey on young Muslims in their search for meaning in life, by "telling them, 'Join the caliphate, fight for it'", she said to the Canadian Senate's national security and defence committee, on the cusp of preparing a report on threats to national security. Despite all the clear and present evidence of the dangers represented by Islamism and its barbaric groups of jihadis, she faults the West in general for failing to develop and promote a usefully protective counternarrative, much less a counteroffensive.

Her witness represents the second in recent weeks posing warning before parliamentarians of the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood and "Medina Muslims" within North American Muslim communities, advocating the abandonment of mainstream social values, beliefs and customs in favour of adopting a strict interpretation of Islam. Which requires through its very inner structure, the core principle of holy war against the West.

Combating radical influences resulting in a proliferation of Islamic terrorism will not happen until North America, Europe and other nations of the West make an effort to define the problem, how it is best identified, and the manner in which it must be countered and ultimately defeated. The "Medina Muslims" of which she speaks are the fundamentalist radicals, the violent underbelly of Islam whose goal it is to live under Shariah law, dedicated to dictating moral, economic, military and social mores reflecting the seventh Century introduction of Islam.

It was in Medina that the Prophet Mohammad made his offer to Jewish tribes to relinquish their belief in Judaism and embrace Islam, the finished product of the religion the ancient Israelites had produced through their communion with god. That they refused earned them slaughter. According to Islamists god may have initially chosen Jews to represent his agenda, but in due time once thousands of years had passed, god looked elsewhere to find another chosen people, and that people happened to be - surprise! - Arab Bedouin, the ignorant and the brutal.

"If an imam or a mosque or a Muslim centre is teaching that absolutely everything that's in the Quran, particularly in Medina, and absolutely everything that the Prophet Muhammad said and did, particularly in Medina, is what the practice of Islam is, then you should have red flags all over the place."
"If they're preaching sharia law, even though it's Canada where it seems inconceivable to practise Shariah law, you have a red flag", she testified.

Rehabilitating Jihadi Terrorists

"Today we are going to talk about how they control their anger. And this is very important for them. We use just the psychology theories, besides what comes in Koran, and what the prophet Muhammad says about controlling anger."
Nasser al-Arifi, U.S.-trained Saudi criminal psychologist

"Without the program, thousands of those who were released would have been exploited by terrorist organizations."
"No rehabilitation program could be 100 percent successful."
Major General Mansour al-Turki, Saudi Interior Ministry spokesman

Mr. Arifi's lectures provide an example of the program’s focus on using a mixture of Western therapy and Islamic teachings to "cure" the young men who appear before him in the official Saudi Arabian rehabilitation program, to relieve fanatical Salafists of their extremist leanings. Which is rather interesting in and of itself, since Wahhabist Saudi Arabia is wedded to extreme Islam of the Salafist variety. Its immense oil wealth enabled it to set up Wahhabist-style madrassas all over the world.

From Pakistan and Afghanistan, Somalia to Libya, New York to Canada, Paris to Berlin, Saudi-financed, Salafi-modelled madrassas exist to expose young Muslim men to the version of Islam noted for its 'purity', dating back to its origins as a scimitar-rattling, 'pacifier' of regions of the world not then yet introduced to the religion of peace that used force of arms as its superior proselytizing tool.

Saudi Arabia's forward-looking rehabilitation system for terrorists was originally set up in 2004, taking in members of al-Qaeda, in an effort to turn them away from their preoccupation with violent jihad. More latterly, it is the large numbers of young Saudi men who have, or attempted to travel to Syria to join the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham. It is instructive to note that without the radicalizing effect of the madrassas, such jihadi groups would never have emerged.

And now Saudi Arabia is busy with deradicalization after having radicalized through its madrassas. Mostly because of the realization that they have created a monster which not only seeks to terrorize those among other Islamic sects, but the Crusader class into which all Westerners neatly fit, along with their democratic virtues so inimical to the pure presence of Islamism. And since Saudi Arabia has long looked upon its traditional alliance with the U.S. as of benefit, it too was targeted by al-Qaeda.

But according to Major General al-Turki, the country's Mohammed Bin Naif Counseling and Care Center is doing an excellent job of turning away the young men wearing long unkempt Islamist beards and the short white tunics that distinguish them as the puritanical Salafist Islamists featuring violent jihad conceptions of honour and tradition in Islam. That, despite the 12 percent recidivism rate, where those having gone through the program return to terrorist activities.

Rehabilitation of terrorists is not unique to Saudi Arabia, even taking into account the paradox of the creator of the disease now attempting to inoculate against it. There are versions of such types of deradicalization schemes in Singapore and Yemen and elsewhere in the Arab and Muslim world. Two former al-Qaeda graduates of the Saudi program were welcomed by former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown in 2008.

Originally the Saudi system proclaimed its program to be one-hundred percent successful. In 2009 however it emerged that a number of former Guantanamo Bay detention centre prisoners, sent on to Saudi Arabia to begin rehabilitation ended up with senior positions in al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb. A not-entirely-unusual result of the one-hundred-percent solution.
Pictured in 2002, the Guantanamo Bay military detention camp in Cuba became a repository for the worst terrorists captured after the 9/11 attacks in 2001
Pictured in 2002, the Guantanamo Bay military detention camp in Cuba became a repository for the worst terrorists captured after the 9/11 attacks in 2001

While al-Qaeda has been hugely financially supported by wealthy Saudis, an upsurge in domestic terrorism resulted in the creation of the program. Which hasn't stopped those wealthy Saudis from continuing to finance jihad, more latterly ISIS being added to the al-Qaeda support. The hundreds of Saudi citizens who have gone off to fight with ISIS, haunt the imagination of the Saudi regime; what happens when they return?

A Sunni extremist group was linked recently with an attack on a Shiite village. Of course there are thousands of Islamic nationals from Europe as well as the Middle East, along with North America who have pursued the dream of presenting as "foreign fighters" for jihadi groups, leaving the West uncertain about their response to these realities. Denmark goes so far as to offer returning 'fighters' counselling and assistance with their careers.

Britain and Canada, on the other hand, remove the passports of people who travel to fight with Islamist extremists. One of the Saudi rehabilitation school alumni now has a $5-million reward on his head.
 was Ibrahim al-Rubaish
Ibrahim al-Rubaish was let go from Gitmo in 2006 along with 16 other prisoners, and quickly returned to al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula – becoming its Mufti, or spiritual leader

Less than two years after leaving Guantanamo along with 16 others captured by American troops in 2001,  and having spent five years as a Guantanamo prisoner, and after going through the Saudi corrective program, Ibrahim al-Rubaish rejoined al-Qaeda in Yemen and by 2009 the Jamestown Foundation, a think tank specializing in terror-tracking, identified him as AQAP's chief religious authority. He has a college degree in Islamic shariah law.
The college graduate/Guantamo/Saudi rehabilitation camp alumni, according to the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) called in 2013 to open a holy war against Americans: "It is my duty to spur the Muslims to kill the Americans, to get them out of the Muslims' land."
An almost verbatim quote from al-Qaeda's founder, Saudi national Osama bin Laden, who didn't need to go through a Saudi rehabilitation camp to spur him to action, only the lesson learned when he fought with the mujahideen as a foreign jihadist whom the United States and Pakistan trained, armed and incited to fight against the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan.
