GazaGenoLIE

"The term 'genocide', along with other international legal terms, has been deliberately and systematically hijacked, redefined, inverted and weaponized to demonize, delegitimize, and apply double standards to 'the Jews' among nations."
"This well-orchestrated campaign to spread a modern blood libel accusing Israel of 'genocide' began before any Israeli response to Hamas' genocidal war crimes and crimes against humanity of October 7."

A campaign has been launched naming itself the "Gaza GenoLIE", supported by over 35 organizations worldwide in a campaign they have joined for the purpose of debunking "Hamas genocidal propaganda" surrounding the war in Gaza. Organizations beside the International Legal Forum include the Anti-Defamation League, the Scholars for Peace in the Middle East, and the World Jewish Congress.

The claims of genocide were initiated on October 8, 2023, a day following the invasion of southern Israel from Gaza by Palestinian terrorist groups led by Hamas, when 1,200 Israelis, mostly civilian, were slaughtered. A somewhat precipitate accusation, given the reality that Israel's ground operation into Gaza began on October 27.

According to Amnesty International, a number of United Nations bodies and other international groups --their investigations have uncovered evidence that they claim validates the assertions that Israel committed genocide during the Gaza War. Bearing in mind that these very organizations are anything but neutral with respect to their accusations against the Jewish state.

For its part, Israel has repeatedly explained that its military has gone to extraordinary lengths that no other country in a war situation has ever committed to, in striving to limit civilian casualties. This is a war where it is well proven that Palestinian terrorist groups consider the Palestinian public expendable to their plans of attacking Israel and preparing for the response by using their civilian population as shields.

There is a double purpose in that tried-and-true strategy; the first being that using human shields results in the actual terrorists having the protection of soft bodies, and the second that those civilians -- all the better when women and particularly children are killed in the line of battle -- are welcome fodder for public relations campaigns that move the hearts and minds of Western democracies.

While acknowledging that some 70,000 people have perished in the war situation deliberately created by Hamas schemes to not only lethally assault Israeli civilian populations -- but to successfully sketch out a scenario naively believed in the West amenable to having its latent simmering antisemitism aroused by the accusations of Israeli 'genocide' against the forever-victims of Palestine -- their terrorist leaders celebrate scoring in their campaign of slander and isolation of Jews from the rest of society.

According to the Gaza GenoLIE website, its purpose is that of an educational initiative relating to the "generated and orchestrated genocide lie promoted by anti-Zionist and antisemitic networks in the United States, Europe and around the world". The campaign argues the most crucial element in claims of genocide is the word "intent"; the 1948 Genocide Convention drafted following the Holocaust refers to certain acts inclusive of killing, causing serious harm, inflicting destructive conditions of life, committed "with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such."

The convention, they contend, asks whether the perpetrator acted for the specific goal of destroying a protected group. Israel, they argue, waged war to dismantle Hamas and bring the release of the Israeli hostages; the civilian death toll a consequence of urban combat against an enemy that "purposely and cynically embed(ed) itself among its own population."

The war Israel fought was to target Hamas, not the Palestinians. When, on October 8, Israel declared war, four aims were made clear: recover the hostages; dismantle Hamas's military capacity; remove Hamas as Gaza's governing authority; ensure Gaza could never again carry out such a horrendous attack.

Israel, moreover, issued evacuation warnings in advance of military operations, dropped millions of Arabic-language leaflets and placed tens of millions of phone calls, texts, and recorded messages in Arabic to urge civilians to leave identified combat zones. "None of the aims reference Palestinians. They refer to an armed terror organization -- its fighters, weapons, and rule."

Canada, a Haven for Jew-Hate

That the Government of Canada, respecting the jurisdiction of, and in
consultation and collaboration with, the provinces and territories, affirm the
need for university administrations to prioritize a safe campus environment for
Jewish students, faculty and staff.
In particular, university administrations must:
• Clearly communicate and enforce campus rules, standards, and policies:
Make clear to students what it means to be a member of the campus
community, and ensure students, faculty, and staff are aware of school
policies. This must include a clear understanding that encampments are
not permitted and what the rules are for protests and demonstrations,
including that hateful speech, and speech that incites and justifies
violence, will not be tolerated.
• Support Jewish students and faculty: Prevent discrimination,
unequivocally denounce antisemitism, ensure inclusivity, and provide
antisemitism education and training from Jewish organizations who
recognize the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance(IHRA)
definition of antisemitism to the administration, faculty members,
security personnel, students’ associations and the heads of Equity,
Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) offices. Ensure the academic freedom of all
faculty is upheld by opposing Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS)
and academic boycotts of Israel.
• Ensure campus safety: Enforce university codes of conduct, maintain
clear reporting avenues for antisemitic incidents with commitment to
response, ensure campus security and staff are trained to address
violations of campus rules, and reaffirm rejection of BDS and academic boycotts of Israel.

Good, responsible report. Never, however, acted upon. Not at any level of government in Canada. From school boards to municipalities, provincially or federally. The problem is there, it is universally recognized but allowed to fester, unopposed. The influence of the Canadian demographic exposed to the hate, the marginalization, the indignities, the threats and inconveniences, the violent attacks, the criminal behaviour targeting houses of worship, community centres, parochial schools and private businesses is left to Jewish Canadians to sort out and provide security for themselves.

Two compelling issues; Palestinian groups and their sympathizers are quick with accusations of 'Islamophobia' should it be stressed too emphatically that their 'protests' are a virulent exercise in public racism, in hatred for Jews; in classic antisemitism. The other is that authorities who can and should exercise the powers given them through the ballot box to put a stop to the constant harassing, threats and violence hesitate to make any move that will brand them anti-Islam and work its way to that ballot box.

Hundreds of demonstrators have blocked access to CANSEC, North America’s largest weapons and military technology expo, in protest against what they call Canadian complicity in the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

It all began when Palestinian terrorists invaded southern Israel on a quiet morning of a national holiday under cover of a rocket barrage from Gaza to distract attention from the fact that thousands of terrorist operatives and thousands of Palestinian civilians joining them set out well armed and prepared to wreak deadly havoc among Israeli civilian populations in largely farming communities, committing atrocities on the way to murdering well over a thousand innocent people; infants, children, families, women, foreign farm workers, elderly residents of kibbutzim, and soldiers.

The hostages taken by the terrorists and Palestinian citizens back into Gaza, both dead and alive, for future leverage in 'agreements' to advantage terrorist groups were comprised of infants, children, the elderly and infirm, women and men and Israeli military personnel, to treat them personally to the kindness of Palestinian society through torture, privation and starvation. After well over two years of captivity all of the living and most of the dead hostages have finally been returned; rehabilitation for the living, burial for the dead.

In the aftermath of the October 7, 2023 invasion the government of Israel vowed to destroy the terrorist group Hamas, along with Palestinian Islamic Jihad, both of which mingled with the Palestinian civilian population as living shields, as well as installing themselves for safety from Israeli detection in Gaza's labyrinthine tunnels where weapons caches, command posts and many of the hostages were kept confined. Command posts, communication centres, weapons depots and rocket launchers were also installed in hospitals, mosques, schools and other public areas, inviting response from the Israel Defense Forces.

Characterizing Israel's response to the promised Palestinian obliteration as a 'final solution' of the Jewish state, Hamas's public relations expertise went into overtime on 'genocide' intentions on Israel's part, despite that it is Hamas's charter that extolls genocide of Jews and extermination of Israel to enable Palestinians to occupy the entire area that originated millennia ago as  historically ancestral Judean land. All of this culminating in Canada to a deep governmental sensitivity to the 'dignity' of Palestinians, to the detriment of Jewish Canadians' dignity, inclusion and security.

Where Palestinian-Canadians and their antisemitic supporters continue to gather in the public sphere to blast out calumnies of Israel and Jews through loudspeakers. Where 'protest' groups march through Jewish-majority areas of Canadian cities, shouting 'globalize the intifada', 'Final Solution!', 'from the river to the sea', and 'go back to Poland/Europe'. Where Jewish-owned businesses are vandalized, schools  are shot at, synagogues fire-bombed and Jews must hire private security to protect themselves against violence.

Where high schools as well as universities, and now elementary schools as well, have established programs to 'educate' children at all levels of the public education system of the 'human rights' of Palestinians, in the process denigrating Jewish culture, tradition and threatening the continuation of Jewish life in Canada where antisemitism on steroids has been elevated to a position of normalization and Jews have the choice to live with it, or leave the country.

Since the Hamas-orchestrated October 7, 2023 massacre, Canada has experienced a dramatic increase in violent antisemitism.  This dangerous spike is concurrent with an increase in activity by an interconnected and coordinated network of NGOs, whose campaigns of anti-Israel demonization, antisemitism, and intimidation create a hostile environment throughout Canada. A number of the leading groups are linked to Palestinian terror organizations and hide their sources of funding.

NGO Monitor’s mapping of Canadian anti-Israel groups, partnerships, and funding shows the extent of NGO cooperation in advancing their agendas of isolating Israel and attacking the Jewish State’s supporters (and perceived supporters).
This NGO network is responsible for violent public events, student encampments, statements, and legal actions. Ominously, many of these groups have publicly celebrated the Oct. 7th atrocities, and expressed support for Hamas and other Canadian-designated terrorist organizations.

The October 7 Rape War

"We are indeed facing a whole new battlefield which we did not anticipate. A whole new war, which is the war over the narrative, over the truth, over the justice, the acknowledgement."
"Hamas had engaged in the most horrendous crimes and brutal and inhumane acts on October 7. One can both acknowledge that Hamas used sexual violence as a weapon of war, and at the same time question the ongoing war in Gaza. but this is a very complex truth to hold on to. It's nuanced, and I'm afraid that this is where much of the media, international human rights organizations and women's groups have failed."
"[The Minerva Center for Human Rights said there is] clear and convincing evidence that hostages in Gaza were subject to sexual assaults that were probably still ongoing."
Israeli legal scholar Ruth Halperin-Kaddari, former UN official

Dr. Halperin-addari is involved in spearheading documentation of the sexual violence Hamas terrorists committed during their invasion of southern Israel on October 7, 2023. Her purpose is to finally achieve international recognition for the  horrors that Israeli women and among them some men as well, suffered, in the face of perplexing apathy and indifference from a number of world bodies.

Dr. Halprin-Kaddari is the lead researcher for the Dinah 7/10 Project, co-author of its white paper submitted to the United Nation's Special Rapporteur on Torture. She is in the process of cataloguing evidence while proposing new legal frameworks for prosecuting such crimes. Her dozen  years as a member of he UN's Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women has more than adequately prepared her for the task at  hand.

Finding bodies showing signs of sexual violence were reported by first responders, Israeli soldiers and medical teams. Survivors and witnesses of the attacks also provided accounts of sexual violence. Some victims were found bound, unclothed, and exhibiting injuries consistent with sexual assault, such as genital injuries, nails pounded into female organs and bleeding. Women required surgery and plasma transfusions for extensive internal rape damage.

At the Shura IDF base, the identification site for victims' bodies, forensic examinations revealed signs of sexual assault followed by execution. Site photographs revealed women's bodies naked from the waist down, or with underwear ripped aside, legs splayed, signs of trauma to genitals and legs. Bodies were bound to structures such as poles and trees. Bodies with broken pelvises from viciously violent assaults.

The Office  of the Special Representative of the Secretary General on Sexual Violence in Conflict concluded in a UN report that evidence was "clear and convincing of sexual violence, characterizing its scope and actions as "cruel and inhumane". Findings, Dr. Halperin-Kaddari states, meeting criteria of the Rome Statute: When rape is committed "as part of a widespread or systematic attack directed against any civilian population, with knowledge of the attack, a crime against humanity is constituted."

The expectation is that international bodies such as the United Nations will acknowledge this.

"Our major  undertaking now is to complete a research report that both accumulates all the pieces of information which we gathered and we grouped together, cataloguing them according to their evidentiary value, according to the proximity of the source of information."
"So eyewitnesses, earwitnesses, footage by first responders and testimonies of first responders."
"It's the attack against the sexual organs. It's mutilation of he sexual organs of the procreative capacity of the nation that is being attacked. So the bodies, mostly of women, but also of men, are actually used as tools."
"They are attacked directly in their procreation capacities in order to destroy that nation."
Dr. Ruth Halperin-Kaddari
