Initiating an Islamic Caliphate Revolution in Canada

"Hizb ut-Tahrir is an antisemitic organization that actively promotes and encourages terrorism, including praising and celebrating the appalling 7 October attacks [in southern Israel]."
U.K. Home Secretary James Cleverly

"The organization is notorious for its antisemitic character, most recently seen in its celebration of the Oct.7th massacre in Israel."
"As we saw in New Orleans and in multiple terror plots disrupted in Canada in recent months, radicalization is a serious threat to public safety. At a time when demonstrations in Canada are regularly featuring pro-terrorist rhetoric and calls for violence, authorities need to be more vigilant than ever."
"We are urging the government and national security authorities to prevent Hizb ut-Tahrir from using Canada as a platform for its dangerous agenda."
Noah Shack, interim president, Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs

"[Muslims should join in a global Islamic caliphate to] become victorious against today's Colonialist superpowers."
"[Conference attendees will] learn what it will take for our Ummah [worldwide Muslim community] to overcome America, Europe, Russia, China, and others from the position we're in today."

Hizb ut Tahrir Canada, a branch of an international Islamic evolutionary organization is in the process of distributing free tickets for attendance to its Khalifah Conference 2025. The Arab word for caliphate, Khalifah refers to a region dedicated to Islamic religious law. In a promotional video for the conference the introduction says that "colonialist powers" fear the international Muslim community as it focuses on political and military expression. In the video old battles of Muslim armies fighting European powers are featured.

This is yet another Islamist fundamentalist group whose presence is disallowed in Muslim-majority countries who really do fear their presence and their message to receptive Muslim citizens, in the knowledge that the goal of these groups is not only to disrupt and destroy Western governments, but their own as well. In advocating for Sharia law to rule everywhere and anywhere they are a direct threat to Islamic nations none of whom other than Saudi Arabia and Iran rule under Sharia law.

Under Sharia law, harsh penalties for supposed crimes, among them the crime of disowning Islam, merit the death penalty. While stoning and death can be applied to adulterers, thieves, and blasphemers. Crucifixion, beheading, hanging in public squares, are all penalties for crimes against Islam. No one can forget the Islamic Caliphate that took shape in Syria and Iraq, with its slick videos of beheadings of Westerners and any who were taken prisoner for opposing the Islamic State.

Among the group's most vehement targets is the presence of the State of Israel, which it aches to destroy. It is an advocate for antisemitism and for usurpation of Western powers. It adheres to the strictest violent advocating of jihad and martyrdom. Declared and designated a terrorist organization in the United Kingdom and elsewhere, the group is legalized in Canada by virtue of the fact that federal authorities fail to recognize it for its terrorist roots.

Hizb ut Tahrir's promotional materials speak of "the hated Zionist entity", while branding leaders of Islamic countries "cowards" and "tyrant rulers of the Muslim lands". Originally scheduled to take place in Mississauga, outside Toronto at a secret location to be revealed on the cusp of the conference date, a last-minute change of venue was announced -- from Mississauga, to Hamilton, Ontario. Registered to attend the conference, people are instructed to wait for an email that will reveal where the conference will be held.
"It has come to my attention that there is a planned event in Hamilton, which has raised significant concerns for me and our community. Since learning of this event, I have been in direct communication with Hamilton Police Service, who are closely monitoring the situation to ensure public safety."
"We  unequivocally refuse access to any group that engages in or promotes hatred or any form of divisive behaviour."
"Hamilton is a city that stands firmly against intolerance. We are committed to fostering a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all. As mayor, I have consistently spoken out against hate in all its forms and will continue to do so unequivocally."
"There is absolutely no place in our city for individuals or groups spreading messages of division or intolerance."
Andrea Horwath, mayor of Hamilton (Ontario)
A former leader with the Hizb ut-Tahrir in Britain, who now dedicates himself to extremist deradicalization, felt the effort to mount the conference, surmounted the cautionary approach the group took in the wake of the British terrorist declaration a year ago, deciding to once again publicly re-engage. "They'll have determined exactly what their legal situation and circumstances are. It was a year ago. They would have had time to draw up a policy and determine what actions they can and shouldn't do. I think they've determined that they can continue their activism".

Unsurprisingly, given the governmental attitudes at every level from federal to provincial to municipal that authorities complacently tolerate the vicious group public, organized expressions of celebrating the Hamas October 7 atrocities in southern Israel, and in turn curse Israel for responding to Palestinian terrorism by entering Gaza for the purpose of exterminating the constant threat of lethal violence against Israeli citizens by suicide bombers and groups of hardcore jihadists terrorizing Jewish communities.

Lack of control of the frequent expressions of Jew-hate on Canadian streets, disinterest in the gross disruptions of public order in large, violent-voiced gatherings advocating for Israel's destruction, harassing Canadian Jewish communities, along with mass organized street prayers that stop traffic in a deliberate show of power and control in numbers of Muslims in Canada many of whom brought with them their contempt for Democracy and law and order, have convinced Hizb ut Tahrir there will be no consequences for the violent anti-Western, anti-Democracy content of their conference.

According to Ali, the focus of Hizb ut-Tahrir "Party of Liberation", is revolution in countries with large Muslim populations to spur unification and consensus in the restoration of the medieval Muslim empire. Their presence in Canada is meant to use the obligingly oblivious country to help spread its message, gain influence and inspire change in Muslim-majority countries. "The only way [to power] is by the overthrow of government by revolution", explained Ali.

"I don't think in and of itself it causes security concern. However, there are considerable things about it which should be of concern."
"Their views about suicide bombing should be of concern, because once you have an idea like that out in the political domain it's not controllable."
"Also, they are a retarding influence on Muslim communities, in the sense of their ideas about democracy and human rights and political participation ... and [that is] damaging for integration and social cohesion."
Rashad Ali, former leader with Hizb ut-Tahrir, Britain
