Eliminating Yahya Sinwar

"You will see on Canadian streets Hamas supporters, rent-a-crowds, Iran-paid crowds and Samidoun-paid crowds ... expressing their dissatisfaction with the elimination of Sinwar."
"You will see spontaneous displays of grief ... and there might be violence. I think there's definitely a chance they will be violent because this is a big loss for them. It's a big loss for Hamas. It's a big loss for the Iranians. It's a setback for them."
I am concerned about how tainted and unfortunate Canadian political actions in Israel have been over the last at least eight months -- almost a year."
"Very regrettable to see Canada in many cases actually choosing the side of Hamas over the side of Israel, and the side of Iran over the side of Israel."
"[Canadian Jews in Toronto, Montreal, Winnipeg and Edmonton] ... Are very afraid because they do not feel protected. They feel that extremists ... are given free reign by Canadian law enforcement."
"They're allowed to go into Jewish neighbourhoods and they're allowed to fire at synagogues with firearms."

Israeli citizens, victimized by the terrorist group Hamas in Gaza, breathe a little easier now that the evil malice of the man has been extinguished. Yahya Sinwar knew Israel and the Jewish character, learned to speak Hebrew while a prisoner in Israeli jails; he studied his enemy with a view of getting to know what they valued and how they could be harmed the most effectively. He concluded that their collective pain when Israelis, singly or collectively are harmed could be advantageous to Palestinians in their no-holds-barred choice of challenging Israel for the land it sits upon as 'Palestinian' land not Judaic heritage.

As a prisoner, Sinwar was operated on by Israeli surgeons to save his life when a deadly brain tumour was discovered that threatened his life. He recovered, but not a scintilla of thanks for a surgery that saved him tempered his hatred for Israel and Jews. He was eventually released in a heavily lopsided exchange in 2011 that saw 1000 Palestinian prisoners traded for a sole Israeli soldier, an exchange that solidified the impression that Israel valued the lives of its citizens far more than Palestinians valued the lives of their children taught to hate and to court danger, taunting Israeli soldiers.

The Israel Defense Forces and Israel's Security Agency Shin Bet jointly issued a press release on Thursday addressing the elimination of Yahya Sinwar, the head of Hamas in Gaza. Sinwar, they announced, "was eliminated after hiding for the past year behind the civilian population of Gaza both above and below ground in Hamas tunnels in the Gaza Strip. After completing the process of identifying the body, it can be confirmed that Yahya Sinwar was eliminated."
"Evil has suffered a severe blow."
"The man who committed the most terrible massacre in the history of our people since the Holocaust -- the mass murderer who murdered thousands of Israelis and kidnapped hundreds of our citizens, was eliminated today by our heroic troops."
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
Sinwar was both admired and feared by Palestinians; admired for his adamant position of spurning the existence of Israel and indulging in guerrilla operations to exact death penalties on Israeli citizens and soldiers alike, as enemies of Palestinians who aspire to make the entire area 'from the river to the sea' Judenrein, elevating the Palestinians to the position of sole sovereign nation on ancestral Judean lands. He was uncompromising in his hatred for Jews, and feared by Palestinians for his brutality. The 'Butcher of Khan Younis' excelled in brutality meted out to any Palestinians suspected of collaboration with Israel.
