Politic?

This is a blog dedicated to a personal interpretation of political news of the day. I attempt to be as knowledgeable as possible before commenting and committing my thoughts to a day's communication.

How Deranged? Utterly

"The Jews rule the world by proxy. Even after their massacre by the Nazis of Germany, they survived to continue to be a source of even greater problems for the world."
"1.3 billion Muslims cannot be defeated by a few million Jews. There must be a way. And we can only find a way if we stop to think, to assess our weaknesses and our strength, to plan, to strategize and then to counterattack. We are actually very strong. 1.3 billion people cannot be simply wiped out."
"The Europeans killed six million Jews out of 12 million. But today the Jews rule this world by proxy."
"We are up against a people who think. They survived 2,000 years of pogroms, not by hitting back but by thinking. They invented and successfully promoted socialism, communism, human rights and democracy so that persecuting them would appear to be wrong, so they may enjoy equal rights with others."
"With these, they have now gained control of the most powerful countries and they, this tiny community, have become a world power. We cannot fight them through brawn alone. We must use our brains also."

"We are really open to everyone, and we are definitely happy to welcome everyone who is interested in working for a better world."
Carminda MacLorin, spokesperson, event organizer, World Social Forum

This all-inclusive tent embracing progressive ideologists, leftists of every persuasion, fascists both on the right and on the left, will hear out anyone who defies the imperialism of globalization and the World Economic Forum. The World Social Forum was organized to represent the sensibilities of the vast majority of people who rail against the injustices of the world and who propose to change things by heaving out the promulgators of injustice.

Which is why the conference taking place in Montreal this week, and which has attracted the passionate faithful for fairness and justice will expose them to such edifying forum events as workshops on how to effectively take part in the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions campaign against Israel. BDS has been around for quite awhile, actually, having seen initiation even before the State of Israel became a reality, fostered by the Arab League in 1945.

There will be sessions declaring Israel an apartheid state and there will be opportunities to recruit the anxious idealists toward "Gaza Boat" spectaculars well entrenched among Western lefties, the brainchild of the Hamas Foundation for Human Rights and Humanitarian Relief and the Perdana Global Peace Organization, a creature of the former Malaysian prime minister, Manathir Mohamad. With sterling credentials such as these who would question the legitimacy of the allegations?

The World Social Forum website featured a deeply moving caricature of the disgust felt by their membership at the very thought of a Jewish state compelling surrounding Muslim states to accommodate themselves to the presence in their midst, representatives of the tribe of Judah with its incessant demands for recognition. Insisting this is their heritage right, when any self-respecting Palestinian can tell you Jews never existed in the Middle East until foreigners flooded it.

Thursday, August 11 , 1:00 – 3:30 pm, Université McGill – Pavillon Rutherford (Local 112),  3600 Rue University

Syrian-Canadian Dr. Nour El-Kadri, Engineering Professor at U. of Ottawa and Vice President of the Canadian Arab Federation, will describe the western attempt at regime change in Syria from the point of view of its illegality under international law. He will also discuss how the Syrian government has the right and duty under international law to resist foreign aggression and restore Syria’s territorial integrity.
Dr. Nour El-Kadri , Vice President of the Arab Canadian Association, will discuss the similarities and differences between the Syrian and Palestinian struggles and the solidarity that exists between them. He will also examine the imperialist and zionist actors who cause so much suffering in both societies, as well as the use of racism and religious intolerance to divide them and render them vulnerable to manipulation and exploitation.
Yes, that's right, there will also be the presence of the Canadian Arab Federation which has its axe to grind -- in support of the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad whose Shiite Alawite government is slaughtering its Sunni Syrian people in opposition to his rule, creating millions of displaced and refugee Syrians in the process; dropping barrel bombs on populated areas held by Sunni Syrian rebels and poisoning them with chlorine gas. Some might consider that defending the indefensible.

And, of course, not to be overlooked, the equally troublesome Zionist imperialist actors whose presence in the Middle East is the direct cause of all those Arab and Muslim states imploding upon themselves, with tribal militias slaughtering one another, and Islamic State making its impressive appearance throughout, committing blood-curdling atrocities, all directed of course by the Zionists.

These surely must represent the proud inclusivity of the World Social Forum; all are warmly welcome who are capable of expressing their hatred for one tiny nation whose citizenry include Jews, Christians, Muslims of a multitude of ethnic origins whose equality under Israeli law is unquestioned, where freely elected members of the Knesset include Arab Palestinians.
