The Measure of Justin Trudeau's Sanctimonious Canada

"Antisemitism has no place in Canadian society. It is against what I stand for, and is against the work I have done as an MP to promote diversity and inclusion. Following correspondence between B'nai Brith Canada and my office with regards to a barbecue volunteer appreciation certificate given last week, I have looked into the matter extensively."
"I was not aware of some of Amin el Moued's past views -- and only he can speak to them -- but we all must stand against antisemitism and discrimination in all its forms. As a representative of the government especially I must condemn them, and rescind the volunteer certificate given to Amin el Maoued."
As a proud Canadian and the MP for a diverse and multicultural riding like Mississauga -- Erin Mills and I are proud of our dynamic Jewish community and everything they bring to our riding."
"I have will have more thorough due diligence in the future in the allocations of these certificates and I apologize for this mistake."

"Canada has always been a  diverse country and this is part of who we are. I love this Canada. But there is a difference between recognizing diversity and pushing for ever more of it. Something infinitely diverse has no core identify and ceases to exist."
"Having people live among us who reject basic Western values such as freedom, equality, tolerance and openness doesn't make us strong. People who refuse to integrate into our society and want to live apart in their ghetto don't make our society strong."
"Trudeau's extreme multiculturalism and cult of diversity will divide us into little tribes that have less and less in common, apart from their dependence on government in Ottawa. These tribes become political clienteles to be bought with taxpayers' [money] and special privileges."
Conservative Member of Parliament Maxime Bernier

To be clear, Iqra Khalid was indeed in possession of knowledge of what El-Maoued represents, and without one shadow of a doubt, so was Prime Minister Trudeau. They are, between them, one-of-a-kind in their sympathies; Canada did a 180-degree turn from the previous Conservative government of former Prime Minister Stephen Harper on most issues, both domestic and international, and one of them could be identified when the Holocaust Museum was opened in Ottawa with its plaque failing to mention that most of the victims were Jews. Trifles of oversight when the devil is in the details.

The community volunteer award that Iqra Khalid presented to Amin El-Maoued went to the head of public relations for a Palestinian organization that the federal government six years ago defunded in recognition of its links to extremists, a man who led a rally for the Palestinian 'cause' that was rife with incitement to violence and threats against Israel, in a fine display of the Canadian version of internationally discounted multiculturalism. If Iqra Khalid wasn't herself aware of this man's fervid commitment to slanderous incitement, she was informed and chose to proceed regardless.

Maxime Bernier, the outspoken critic of Canada's new trajectory in embracing illegal migrants and naming them 'refugees' to suit the whims of a government committed to parading its virtuous open-for-refugee-business credentials on the international stage has taken his own party aback at his lack of caution in an overheated, politically-correct atmosphere gaming for votes. An atmosphere where none of Canada's heroes, let alone founding fathers are safe from scrutiny and rejection of their 'values', where the Mayor of Victoria feels entirely justified in removing a statue of Canada's first Prime Minister, John A. Macdonald to placate the hurt feelings of the present-day Songhees and Esquimalt First Nations.

Excited to join the local community, my colleague @TerryDuguid, the high commissioner, @JaniceLukes & more in inaugurating a local park in #Winnipeg and naming it after the founder of #Pakistan Qaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah #unityfaithdiscipline #withmyMP  MP Iqra Khalid

"The statue will be removed and stored in a city facility until an appropriate way to recontextualize MacDonald is determined. We do not propose to erase history but rather to take the time through the process of truth-telling and reconciliation as part of the Witness Reconciliation Program to tell this complex and painful chapter of Canadian history in a thoughtful way", Mayor Helps stated in a mealy-mouthed dedication to the appeasement of political correctness. So the statue of Macdonald is taken down, but in Winnipeg a park is named after the founder of Pakistan and his statue erected.Image result for asia, christian woman, condemned to death, pakistan
Pakistan, where a Pakistani Christian woman is on death row for the crime of blasphemy. Her crime? to drink from a bowl of water after a hard day's work in the fields. Unfortunately the bowl of water was meant for Muslims only, and when she drank from it one of the Muslim women protested that she was defiling the bowl and the water. An argument ensued, and Asia Bibi was taken into custody, placed on trial and found guilty, and sentenced to hang for her crime. And in Winnipeg the Pakistani community have brought their traditions and their national heroes with them in defiance of Canadian mores and values, but that's multiculturalism...
